ALADDIN hosts second annual meeting in Linköping, Sweden

The eight project partner teams gathered at Linköping University in September to share progress, plan next steps, and strengthen collaboration in advancing nanobody discovery.

On 3–4 September 2025, the ALADDIN project held its second annual meeting in Linköping, Sweden, hosted by Linköping University. This in-person gathering brought together all consortium partners to review achievements from the second project year and discuss upcoming activities.

During the two-day meeting, partners presented their latest results and shared plans for the next stages of the project. In addition to the presentations, the event created valuable opportunities for deeper discussions, exchange of ideas, and exploring new approaches to address specific challenges on the journey to developing the ALADDIN platform.

Participants also enjoyed a behind-the-scenes visit to Linköping University’s zebrafish facility and the laboratory of Principal Investigator Lasse Jensen, gaining first-hand insight into ongoing preclinical validation work. The programme included a city tour of Linköping, allowing attendees to discover the local culture and strengthen informal connections within the consortium, and a visit to the Swedish Air Force Museum.

With its collaborative spirit and clear roadmap for the coming year, the second annual meeting marked another important milestone in ALADDIN’s mission to accelerate therapeutic antibody discovery and validation.
